Hare's Fur and tea...

The Classic Jian tea bowl (temmoku) must be one of the most perfect fusions of glaze, form and body in the history of Chinese ceramics. If not the main inspiration for Korean and Japanese pottery.

This rare example is from the late Tang dynasty (618-907) to early Song (906-1279). Will see what it might do to the tea character....

Beautiful water container & tea cups! From the photos the glaze is lovely, I would like to see the cup filled with a green tea & the color resulting. I will be interested to hear the comments of other connaisseurs of teaware & ceramics at TTG. Congratulations and may you use them in good health
